We provide our students with all gear; wetsuits, life vests, helmets, kites, harnesses, etc. We teach beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons. Jessica Your Kite Instructor has helped create a small and efficient team of kite boarding instructors who are safe, professional and experienced. She is the lead instructor and runs the school, book your lesson today.

1. Basic Introduction to Kiteboarding: 2 hrs/170 usd
Bring a friend along, add 85 usd. Includes:
INTRO TO KITEBAORDING
* Wind talk, direction, speed, etc.
* Safety precautions, beginner tips.
* Flying a trainer kite, wind window theory.
* Learn where 9 o´clock, 12 o´clock, etc, is.

* Practice flying the kite and holding your board to get to the water.

Practice being confrotable in the water with your board. We will nail down your water starts, improve your riding stance, help you learn to relaunch and self rescue to make sure you feel like an independant kite baorder. If you are riding, we can practice on toe side, turns, jumps, tricks etc.

Kite Camps
Wind Over Water (WOW kite) is a kite school in the San Francisco Bay Area with a great reputation and impressive client list, including Google's CEOs Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
During the winter Playa Central helps WOW kiteboarding host all inclusive kite camps. Playa Central's instructors and WOW's instructors team up to provide one of the best kite camps available.
Camps are for beginner and intermediate kiters, and include lodging, breakfast, lunch, kite snacks, morning yoga, airport transportation in Baja, downwinder transportation, and other activities like guided hiking, snorkeling and Stand Up Paddle Boarding.
Costs this 2011-2012 season are:
- $2,100 per kiter.
- $3,700 per two kiters.
- $3,200 for one kiter and one non-kiter.

Which accommodations are for you?
If you are coming to La Ventana to kite or take lessons everyday and would like to stay close to the action yet have a nice room to retreat to, choose from our two hotels.
If you are one or two people you can rent a new guest room next door to Playa Central. Includes internet, AC, and lovely common areas, $40 a night.
If you are a kiter and just want a bed to sleep on and some home food cooking, rent a bunk and get breakfast for $18, internet included!
Town houses: one sleeps 4 people and costs $450 a week, located few hundred feet from Playa Central. The other sleeps 2-3 people, nice palapa roof top, across the street from Playa Central and costs $600 a week.
Beachfront Hotel
Stay at a new hotel on the sandiest beach in the bay. Have a private patio overlooking the bay.

Playa Central has two rooms with four warm bunk beds in each. Most guests are people who travel alone or with friends and want to stay on the beach, low budget, and need a place to crash after a long day on the water.
Playa Central is located downtown, and is in walking distance from most businesses in La Ventana, which means you don´t need a car when you bunk. Guests use the common bathrooms and hot water showers. Internet is included and laundry service is available.
Located on the beach in the Playa Central building, it´s the most popular room our kite students and people who visit La Ventana rent for their stay. You wake up to see the sunrise, walk up to your room when you get right off the water. You can order room service and eat at our bakery and restaurant.

Casa Blanquita

Both of these town houses are within a stone´s throw of Playa Central. You can also walk to most of the local restaurants and shops from here. No need to rent a car, just book a shuttle from the airport.
Villa Turquesa
Two bedroom, kitchen, living and dinning room, with a shower bathroom and a front porch, great view.
Rate: $450 a week, sleeps 4.
Villa Bonita
Upstairs has a kitechenette, each floor has a master bedroom, full bathroom, patios, tables and closets.
Rate Together: $900 usd a week, sleeps two couples.
Rate Upstairs: 80 usd a night, 560 a week.
Rate Downstairs: 65 usd a night, 390 usd a week.
Two bedroom house just behind the La Ventana church, with full kitchen, living room, dinning room, and bathroom. You walk about 250 yards down hill to get to the beach, and find yourself in the center of downtown La Ventana.
The best thing about this house in the quet front purch that overlooks the Bay of La Ventana and has stunning sunrises and sunsets. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other a bunk bed. The perfect house for a family of four.
No need to rent car, and house has a big backyard that guests can have campers and RV´s on for additional costs if rented monthly.

Casa Blanquita has a second story palapa where you can read, hang out and enjoy the view. The shaded house also has a nice garage to park your car on the left.
It has a king size bed and can sleep four people with the pull out sofa couch in the living room. There is a full bathroom and washing machine. The house has a full kitchen and great living space.
Guests often store their gear across the street at Playa Central for $10 a day, for your kite and windsurfing gear, where you are welcome to use their WiFI and air compressor for pumping kites.
This two story Villa can be rented as one complex, or seperately. Each floor has a nice bedroom with king size bed, bathroom, living space, front patios and a big front yard.
The upstairs room has a kitchenette while the downstairs does not. The downstairs has a big closet for clothes and gear, while the upstairs has a few drawers for your clothes. The upstairs rents for a bit more than the downstairs since it has a kitchenette. You can rent the whole Villa at a discount.
This villa has great location, you can walk to the beach and kiteboard, or local shops and restaurants. It's great to see the runrise from here.

The upstairs of Villa Bonita is a master bedroom/ studio apartment. It has a kitchenette, full bathroom, king size bed, windows with great views, and small front patio.
The green wall and bright blue shutters give this room an authentic Mexican feel to your stay. Bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Rental comes with four clean towels a week.
Great for longer stays since it has a 4 top burner stove, mini fridge, dishes and sink. From here you can walk to the beach, restaurants and shops.

This cozy room has a king size bed, front patio with some furniture, full bathroom, and big closet for clothes and gear. You are walking distance from the beach, most restaurants and shops, and will probaly stay with in a 2 mile radius of your villa.
The upstairs has a kitchenette and can be rented together, or you can rent the downstairs only. A kitchenette is not necessary since local restaurants serve great food at reasonable prices, making it about 30-40 usd a day per person for good 3 meals a day and a snack.
You can walk about 150 yards down hill and you get to a great beach to launch your kite. Great place to rent for kite vacations.
